South Pole Ice is a newly formed business to provide all ice requirements to local liquor outlets and bait and berley to fishing retailers.

The dream was born by Reiss and Karen Wallace, long term Waiuku residents with a long history of serving Waiuku residents from the early days of the bakery to Ians milk run (Reiss’ dad).

Reiss, a local butcher, who served his apprenticeship with Frank Leaming, (business still in operation in the main street of Waiuku, only 112 years) and well known in the fishing industry with his boat, Dawn Runner is poised to supply Trade and Home sales to the recreational boatie with internet banking, EFTPOS, Visa and MasterCard payments available and an honesty box for payment in Charlie ash.
